10-29-14 ...... WEDNESDAY ...... ACTIVE MORNINGS! ......

We are seeing a nice catch of BLUEFISH, SEA MULLET, SPOTS, and SPANISH MACKEREL mostly in the morning right now, but there is a cold snap coming for this weekend and that might change tings a lot! ............ Congratulations to NUI VINSON (Jacksonville, NC)-- 2 lb. 3 oz. BLUEFISH ............. TOM EAVES (Henderson, NC)-- Hand Full of BLUES & SPANISH MACKEREL ............. STEPHEN STARNES (Wendell, NC)-- 1 lb. SEA MULLET .............. and JORDAN PAWKEY (Winston-Salem, NC)-- BLUES & SPOTS ............ There was a large amount of KING MACKEREL heading toward us from OCRAKOKE from last weekend; it was reported that the KINGS were upward in the 60 lb. range! ............. We can just hope they don't stay too far offshore! ............ We have also heard that SPOTS were running south of RUDEE INLET just below Virginia Beach, but many of them were running offshore also ............. Oh, well, I guess the next few days will tell the fishing story! ............ The WATER TEMPERATURE is 70* (thanks, Dr. Bogus!) and it is predicted to be nice right up to Saturday's cool snap .............. COME ON DOWN! .............. MIKE STANLEY
